What's my dog think of the new baby?

I was a little worried about how my dog would handle having the baby around since she's been the baby for almost 9 years now. At first she looked as though she wondered why Maggie couldn't communicate, but now, she's miss protective. She sleeps by the bassinet, won't eat unless the food is by the bassinet (if baby is in it at the time) and runs checking if she cries. I'm truely amazed with her actions. I always say she's amazingly smart. I don't ever leave Maggie alone because I know accidents can happen, but under my supervision, she's like a big sister!
