i have been working hard this weekend on all my new halloween decorations. first i paper mached two witches heads. i painted 'em paint for the base color and then to paint em greenish-yellow. i am working on a piece of "artwork" to hang in "castillo de tormento" or torment castle. i cant really think of any other name for our castle. the art piece is a fleshy face & arm coming out of a shield..its the coat of arms..get it? lol. anyway. i am paper maching another skull face for a new grim reaper...we saw a poster at SPENCER gifts...a grim reaper with a silver skull with red LED lites and i just bought a skull W/attached spine that i will be making into a "cickle thingy" for grim. what esle...my neck hurts from working, oh...i took four of my Xmas AAbattery operated candlesticks and painted em black with dipping blood around the trim and a silver base. old man is hard at work on his costume and our sons....i thik thats it...will get photos up soon....later.
PS i forgot i also paper mached a "rock" to cover up my three outlet post for the graveyard. my son says it looks dumb but i said it will be in the dark so i dont care..otherwise i will be too focused on perfection instead of just having fun, which should be have the journey....?
