My Mother-in-law just returned from a 3-day trip to Connecticut, where she went to visit her ailing mother.

She was complaining to my Wife (her daughter) about how her husband (my step-father-in-law) did NO dishes while she was away.

This suprised noone, and is NOT why she was angry.

She was angry, because when she asked him: "If I had been gone longer than a few days, how long would you have gone before you did any dishes?"

And he replied, laughing, "When I ran out of clean ones!"

So MIL was mad, the Wife was mad.... and I thought his answer was funny as hell!
