I'm just wondering if there really is a such dance as the Monster Mash. We're suppose to be doing it on our baseball field in front of thousands of people. But, I'm wondering if there really is a such thing as the Monster Mash dance or are we gonna have to create one ourselves.
For those of you who are familiar with my habits, you already know why you haven't seen or heard much of me lately. For those of you who aren't, I'm doing my disappearing act. Around this time, I get very busy and bogged down with getting the haunt up and running. We begin construction on the 26th, those who are going to our baseball game on the 30th meets on the 27th to pick out costumes, create makeup and learn "The Monster Mash." And then's there's the ever important game. I'm currently working with a friend on creating a new video of our 2005 tour featuring the music from an awesome local group called SIGMA Project who will also be playing at our haunt. The video will be played on the field's huge screen for all the 40,000 baseball fans to see. BUT, WAIT...THERE'S MORE! Unfortuantely, I don't have time to write it. LOL! Anyway, please forgive me if I seem to disappear. It's not that I don't love you....I just love Haunting more...JOKING!!! Hope everyone's plans are going according to schedule. HAPPY HAUNTING!
Today My chairperson and I had a meeting with the Marketing heads of our baseball team, The Sacramento River Cats. I was VERY nervous, but it soon left when they started telling us what they would like to do for us. When they finished, you could have swept my bottom lip up off the floor. Here's the skinny: 1) They are going to send out an email press release to all their online contacts letting them know about our haunt and asking them to attend. How many are on their emailing contact list....? 50,000!!! 2) We, a crew of twelve monsters, will be attending their August 30th game which is their next to last home game. At the game we will be: *Dancing to "The Monster Mash" with the Mascot on the field and in the aisles. *Giving a mini screaming contest on the field for haunt tickets. 3) When the game is over, they are having their staff to pass out all our flyers and postcards. 4) They are going to play our video currently playing on our profile page on their HUGE TV SCREEN for all to see!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there a such thing as TOO much good luck? I'm so afraid that we aren't going to be able to handle all the potential people coming to our haunt. This is what I've always wanted to happen. But, now I'm nervous as heck! Why in the world can't I just sit back and enjoy the ride?! Oh, well.... Too late now! LOL!
Video from The Scream Extreme 2005 is up on my page. Check it out by clicking on my pic!
