Hello sweetie: Sorry I haven't been around at all. I have been busy with my interns and with Rick and riding almost daily, or should I say "weather permitting"? But really we ride in the rain too, we don't melt. In fact one of Rick's favorite sayings now is "If it don't snow, we don't go..."....lol. We have ridden in such cold weather, but, hey, if you don't around here, you just don't ride. The weather has been very nasty this year and has been raining every day almost. So we go rain, or shine.
We "brougth the troops home", as they say it. All the Harley riders from around go to Eugene, which is about an hours drive from here, or they meet along the way, and escort the troops home that are coming home from Iraq, it was extra special this time because Rick's nephew was one of them on the buses coming home from Iraq. We are so happy that he is home. But the turn out was super! Around 200 bike! A lot of fun and a lot of drinks later. We rode up to his nephew's fathers house and drank there and spent the night. It was fun, until I woke up the next morning with cat hair all over my black Harley fleece pullover...now that is something hard to get rid of, cat hair. You know how expensive Harley clothing is too!
Anyway, that is so awesome that you got a new seat. It makes it so much funner to ride when your ass isn't hurting. We went 422 miles one day not too long ago (in the snow...lol) and my bottom didn't hurt at all! So kiss your other half a big one, because it shows that they love you when they get their woman a nice cushiony seat.
