Whoa!!! Sorry to hear about all the bad luck with the wind and your plants and stuff. I know how the wind can affect the riding because Rick and I would get into some nasty blowing and by the time we get to where we were going my neck would be hurting so much from fighting with the stress the wind was putting on it. So I understand what your hubby was going through and how it was hurting his hands because Rick at times would complain about it hurting his forearms when he had to fight it or on a long run. I miss him but I know it is for the better. He wasn't giving me any time to make things work out with us. I guess he thought I should be the perfect little missy and all would be gloriously good! Will that only happens in Faery Tales and this life is definately not one...lol.

Hello Cat.... Will my fun for the summer is over! Rick kicked me to the curb yesterday morning. Said he was through and wouldn't talk about it. Said there is nothing to talk about and he is done and that is that. He won't answer my calls and I am done calling and trying to talk to him about it. He has his mind set on it so there is nothing I can do now. So I have been looking all afternoon for a bike to buy next week. Hopefully I will have the money by the 7th of July or there about. It's sad that he has to be this way, but I guess if he wants to be that heartless than he is doing me a favor by saying good bye before my heart gets broken like he did in November. Anyway, hope to find a good Sporty. I think that is all I am going to be able to afford since I am thinking about going to England and Ireland too. I got a letter from Roy today and he said I can stay with him and Heidi and that he is going to put in for time off so he can take me for that tour of Europe as he promised on his BMW bike. Now that is the way to tour! lol. So maybe all will be good after all. I seen some really nice bikes on Craigs list today, so hopefully I can get one before the summer is out, but if I am in the UK and Ireland all August I won't need it until I get back. Hello my friend, hope this message finds you having a great time. We were out on the bike last night after Rick got off work. Went around to a few places than ended up at our favorite place to eat a hambagger and fries, with of course a drink. Rick is really responsible and knows his limits, so he usually has one or two at the most. We have been riding almost every day again. I am now waiting for him to pick me up so we can go for a ride somewhere and maybe eat something. Yeah, the all chrome nighttrain is the best! I don't think I can get one that expensive, thinking I might get by with a 1200. I would like the Dyna LowRider, but don't think I can afford that one this year. But I do plan on going somewhere, alone or with someone. I do have a female friend that has a 1200, 2007 Sportster, but she told me that other day that the 100 mile Poker Run was too much for her! I told her forget about my idea of her and I riding together than...lol. Rick and I went 422 miles one day just driving around Oregon, that is when we had clouds, than desert and sunshine to mountains with fog, sleet, rain and snow on the ground...lol. What a day that was, but my butt did not get sore once. Since we got that pillow seat last year we have not complained once about our rear-ends. It is the greatest. And of course I had to mention that to my female friend and she got green with envy because we have the cruiser...lol. So I shouldn't laugh at her much because if I end up with a Sportster my bum will be hurting too...lol. But I think I will invest in a very well padded seat! Now that Rick has spoiled me. Talk about spoil; he handed me a small black box last night when he came over; in it were earrings, three diamonds on each earring! Very beautiful. He said it was for my graduation present. I graduated but not officially until my math class is done this summer. But the gift was very unexpected and very nice. I guess I better get my butt in gear and get ready before he gets here. I am still wearing my leather jacket, but I know what you mean about the weather being perfect for riding right now. I think you are right about going off on my own. Maybe not all the way to VA (I live in Oregon) but around a few States and just have fun. But I don't know yet what I am doing to tell you the truth. I guess I will go where the wind takes me. Would be nice to see my friends in England and Ireland...but whatever...lol.
Seen a really cool looking Trike up for sale last night. But it is out of my price range. Not a bad price, but too much for me. I would love to have a Trike again...they can be fixed up so cool looking.
Wished you had your bike we could meet halfway somewhere and you could cruise around with me. Wouldn't that be a blast?

Rick's nephew, the one just home from Iraq, just bought a HD yesterday...Nighttrain. It's OD green and black. Nice bike, but I think it is too small for him. It would be too small for me I think, but it is a nice bike. I like all the chrome and shiny things on a bike and the nighttrains don't have that. Are you talking about the Sportster? That is what his is, so maybe I don't know what I am talking about...lol...but his is the 1200 nighttrain. Anyway, I don't know where he is going to put his wife because she isn't a small gal...lol. We were told today when we went to look at it that Jacob had ordered a pussy pad for his wife to sit on....man is she going to hate him for that one...lol. I think it is so funny because she isn't going to want to go much, and maybe that is the purpose...HEy, you think! LMAO!!!
Rick says he doen't want to ride the bike all the way to VA now. I am so pissed at him when he told me that. He said he didn't know that is what I had planned! He forgets things so easily...or is that a man thing...convieniently forget? And he said now that he can't go all the month of August, but if it was something he wanted he would take the whole summer off! Okay...I will stop bitching...lol. So anyway, I told him I might just buy my own bike and take off with Teneal (she has a Sportster) and travel around a bit. I want to go to England, but I might wait on that. I don't really know what I am doing now. I really wanted to go to VA and meet Sue and Sandy. You know who I am talking about? They are on SS too. Anyway, Rick just wants to fly over there, but I don't know if we are now.
So what would you do? England/Ireland or a HD Dyna Glide and travel a bit in the States? Or just stay home and save money? The last isn't on my list...lol...but it might have been on yours...Hee!!! I need to get some sleep I am getting dingy.
Hello: Hope your day is going great for you. We took the bike over to Sp. Mountain last night and will again today for the drawing. It is an Indian Casino and we are trying to win one of the four VW bugs plus the $20,000 plus other money prizes they are offering this month. First time I have tried to win a vehicle there, but eveyone I talk to says that they know of someone that has won, so I thought "Why not try?"....can't win if you don't play...lol. But it is a good ride, one hour each way, and with this beautiful weather we are having why waste it?

Rick and I are planning a trip to VA in August on the Harley, so that will be awesome. If we don't go, I might buy a Harley with that money or go to England and Ireland as I have planned for the past few years. Don't know yet which to do...too many decisions and not enough time or money...lol. But I have been looking at a few nice Dyna Glides and Lowriders that I really like. But thinking that a 1200 would probably be enough for me to putt around here on and save a lot of money.
