ABC’s 20/20 has a filming crew in Rockford this week. Tomorrow they will be filming a neighborhood march, organized by the Coronado Haskell neighborhood group. We’d like to get as many marchers there as possible. If you want to help, they are assembling in the back parking lot (access off N. Church) of Stepping Stones, 706 N. Main. The details are below. 20/20 National News will be in Rockford Wed October 24, 4:30pm to Join The Coronado Haskell Sweep It & Keep It March. They are here to do a story on the Anti-Drug Initiative. lori.gustafson@rockfordil.gov WOWWWWWWW! i am so excited i can hardly stand it. just kidding really. i drive through that 'hood' everyday to & from work. scary, even walked home a few times. something one might see a a movie. plus i have to drive my bus threw there! so no speeding for me 
tonight Ol man & i watched the 1932 movie caled "freaks" by Tom Browning, MGM's old black & white film about circus freaks taking revenge on a "normal" circus lady who wronged a "german dwarf" strangely it was good. i wanted to see it because i remembered seeing a clip on "AFI's 100 scariest movies" or something about 100 scariest movies. anyway, the end scene was freaking and were those "freaks" actors or "real" people? creeepy. I also watched "Beserk" i think thats how its seplled...with Joan Crawford as the owner of a circus. i wanted to see that one due to the fact it was Joan's 2nd to last movie she made and knowing she was the "scream Queen" i wondered to check it out. poor joan...well, if you have nothing to do and need an excuse to stay home here's one to use.
A husband and wife were scheduled to attend a Halloween party. The wife got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the Halloween party alone. He, being a devoted husband, protested,but she argued and said she was going to take some Aspirin and go to bed and there was no need for his good time to be spoiled by her not going. So he took his costume and away he went. The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, woke without pain, and as it was still early, decided to go to the party. As her husband didn't know what her costume was, she thought she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him. So she joined the party and soon spotted her husband in his costume, cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice 'chick' he could
and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there. His wife went up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his new partner high and dry devoted his time to her. She let him go as far as he wished, naturally, since he was her husband. After more drinks he finally whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had passionate intercourse in the back seat. Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away and went home and put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of explanation he would make up for his
Outrageous behavior. She was sitting up reading when he came in, so she asked what kind of time he had. 'Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you're not there.' Then she asked, 'Did you dance much?' He replied, I'l l tell you, I never even danced once. When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some other guy, so we went into the
spare room and played poker all evening. 'You must have looked really silly wearing that costume playing poker all night!' She said with unashamed sarcasm. To which the husband replied,
'Actually, I gave my costume to my brother, Apparently he had the
time of his life!

ok, i am full of energy today, even tho its like 90 degrees out. i got one tombstone finished and painted. both witches are finished. pilllars are going in front yard today, but got to go to MENARDS for gun staples, metal post rods, extension cords, adapters. have my list. craft store HOBBY LOBBY to get some key chain circles for the spider victim. i have two XL spider webs for the front of the house and hubby AKA "ol man" will be hanging the victim from the roof, but he wants it to be secure so key chain circles will be like "D rings" cant wait to take photos. oh, i painted a coffin for my small mummy. i also made a lamp shade, but i dont like the way it looks.....anyway, still have another rental property i have to do yard work on HOSTAS are going in other there, they are in the way of my HALLOWEEN stuff...thats bad huh? taking out my garden plants for Halloween...lol?!
friday night stayed up late again to watch NEEDFUL THINGS, Stephen King's movie. its been a long time since i saw it. i remember watching an interview with Mr King after his accident and he explained all about his books and fears, so i wonder where that idea for his book came from. Then i watched THE PROCHECY II with Christopher Walken. IT was ok. Interesting on a religious level. I kinda liked it in a off-beat way. Then later that evening more of me dreams where "ole man" had to wake me. My oldest son was in our bedroom on all fours, he looked like an animal and the sense of uneasiness made me start yelling in my sleep. he was demanding 2 no y i dont call him and that THEY were coming from me & him. he body twisted and his face was awful looking. by the time i realized i was dreaming it was too late. Now, this morning my son is coming to my aunts house to help her wash windows. she called my mom to let her know that stuff has been happening in the house. my sunt said she was "thrown/pushed" out of her bed more than once and refuses now to sleep in it. my mom told me to make sure my son doesnt go into the house. i find that in my latin culture some of the family tends to be very superstitious. that "spirits" can "latch" onto a person and bring them home or be upsetting "them" in some way. even my best friend thought that "spirits" were bought into his home by a hospice worker whose client had passed away. i remember when he was visiting me and we were talking and then the TV shut off and had this "ball" of static light in the screen. My hubby prayed and it never happend again, before that time or after the time. i thought the picture tube was going out, but it finally went out 4 years later. i know i believe in God and the bible and i believe that there is a battle of good VS evil that goes on around us every minute of every day.

ok, this weekend i finally saw the SCREAM...yuk. i am glad i didnt pay money to see this. however i did find the ending funny. and i kept thinking when abbott & costello "ruined" the black/whites and for awhile i stopped watching horror movies. then i saw SCARY MOVIE 4? where "tom cruise" meets "the grudge". ok, had to laugh. watched some oldies BLADE series. what i REALLY wanna see is Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN....my son told me that his friend said it was very gory. it looks awesome. it would be my first RZ movie. the best news of today is......a local Halloween store is going OUT OF BUSINESS! the lady hand made alot of the costumes. there are alot of extras. i am so excited. there are alot of 'older' costumes, masks, some decorations. too cool. started painted the pillars of pain. last nite at walmart i got some padding for the spider victim, i was disappointed in the fact there were not alot of fabric or ribbon with halloween prints. even at Micheals craft store, no ribbon that i liked. anyway...the day draws closer & closer.(and i have it OFF for personal day)
ok, last night i went to take a nap at 530pm woke up its 8pm then napped somemore until ole man woke me up at 1015ish. why because i was having another one of my dreams. this time i actually said "f*** y** get away from me" out loud. most that i remember was that i was laying in my bed just like in reality, but there was a ceiling light in the corner of my room (which there isnt) and it possessed an evil that only i can see, the evil showed itself only to me, i tried to explain to ole man but he said that it was nothing, but the light would flicker insdie the bulb was coil shaped and would get very dim so only the filament was visible. i got mad and threw a handful of quaters at the light, most fall to the ground but two got stuck in the light and suddenly come flying at me and hit me in the chest. i coould feel the burning and stinging on my chest. then the evil went down the ahl (which we have an open landing) and went towards my baby boy's room i could feel a presence behind the wooden door ( we have no wooden doors) and it was dark & cold, i wasnt too afraid for my son, cuz i knew he could deal with the evil with he had too. there was more but as the day went on i forgot alot of it, but this is the most i can remember.
wow, i finished, ok it was difficult for me until i got the hang of it. i will end up changing it later. but for now its done...wha? my "page" i would have never guessed there were "others" out in the world like me. i already started getting my halloween decor out of the shed, there are lots more tombstones that have to be made. making my PILLARS OF PAIN< SPIDER VICTIM< BODY BAG. hopefully i wont wait til the last minute. ok, laundry time...
