So a ton of video recording, hours of audio and hundreds of pictures later and a flight home RFR wants to give a big thank you to both Haunted Acres and Fright Kingdom for having RFR come out to their events this past weekend. Over all it was a blast and we have gotten a ton of audio, video and photos from the attractions. First we flew in on Friday and spent the day at Haunted Acres. The event was well put together, very busy and had enough things to do to keep the customers hanging around all night long. The most popular attraction seemed like it was the trail. The most screams, yells and runners came from that attraction. John and Bob you were great hosts and we fully enjoyed our time there on Friday. Loved the elevator in the 3D attraction and the Maze was just too fun. You have everything running smoothly and the people kept packing in. On Saturday and Sunday we were Tim & Angela's guest over at Fright Kingdom. Tim enjoyed RFR's company so much that he wanted to make sure we captured everything and kept us there on Sunday to make sure we had everyone interviewed and captured the kingdom. The event queue set the tone instantly with screams, laughter and high energy. Both events were awesome in the troughput and layout, the design and set pieces we well accomplished and his actors we dead on. Some of the highlights also included Daeg from Rob Zombie's Halloween being at the event on Saturday and Tim got him to do some scares outside in a clown costume and in the event. Tim and I also took him through the haunt. On Saturday Tony Todd was there and the Candyman had a blast. I took him through the events and we recorded video the entire time even with a special treat from him that I won't reveal yet. I'm not going to talk your ears off in typing so you'll have to tune into RFR this Friday for all the coverage, interviews, testimonials and more. I just want to say THANK YOU to both events on having RFR come out to NH. Here are two shots for now until I get all the photos up one from Haunted Acres and the second from the Psycho Circus attraction as part of Fright Kingdom.

 When her twentieth wedding anniversary was approaching, Sue Davis of Vienna, Ohio, knew that she wanted to renew her wedding vows and exactly where she wanted to do it; the Haunted Mansion at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA. Sue Davis and her husband, Rick are two of the three founders of the Darkride and Funhouse Enthusiasts (DAFE), an organization devoted to the appreciation of "dark attractions," so this came as no surprise to those that know the couple. Sue said "After seeing some of the fun things that couples have done for their weddings, I wished that Rick and I would have thought of it. Of course we couldn't go back in time, but we could do something special and unusual for our twentieth anniversary." Since weddings on rollercoasters have become rather old-hat, Sue and Rick decided that they should renew their vows at one of their favorite "darkrides" the Haunted Mansion at Knoebels Amusement Resort.  Costumes for Kids is program designed to collect new or used costumes, make-up, costumes for disabled children to give them the Halloween they deserve. The program has officially launched this year and we are looking for haunted attractions, individuals, halloween enthusiasts and more to donate their unused costumes. These costumes in return will be distributed to children who are less fortunate, and children with disabilities including hard to find costumes themes for children in wheel chairs and special needs. All we ask is that you contact us, and ship your costumes to us so we can have them cleaned and sent to the families in need to give the children a very special Halloween every year. All sizes are acceptign from infant on up. Don't let the name fool you. We also accept Make-Up (unopened), Halloween favors and decor and such to bring the whole Halloween experience to these children and families. For more look at our Items Wanted or Needed page. We will also have posters available to download that you can put up and start your own drive to help this cause. Not every child is able to celebrate Halloween as they should so let's give them that chance to escape hard times, disabilities and special needs by bringing them some simple joy.
