The 6th Annual RONDO HATTON CLASSIC HORROR AWARDS has started and VOTING HAS BEGUN!

It seems that the annual awards that are handed out to the best voted on by the fans is once again set in motion and this year we have the addition of having some haunters added into the mix as well. Rotting Flesh Radio "The Haunt Industry's First and Only Weekly Show" and also Gravely and Grizelda from Castle Blood and the Midnight Monster Hop are up in some categories for awards this year!

If you aren't aware of what the awards are, here is what Ain't It Cool News says about them....'Long live the Rondos!' - Ain't It Cool News! The official ballot for the SIXTH Annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror awards, recognizes the best in monster research, creativity and genre appreciation. These awards are by fans, for fans. Every Rondo nominee is being recognized for a significant achievement in the genre.

It is an honor to be nominated and as we always say here on the show, "Without you Deadite Listeners Tuning In Each Week, We Wouldn't Be Here." And being nominated is a sign of that dead-ication.

..The International Association of Haunted Attractions (I.A.H.A), together with Mobile Midway Safety Institute (MMSI), is proud to offer the haunted attraction industry's‚ first and only voluntary national safety certification program. The Certified Haunted Attraction Operator Seminar program (C.H.A.O.S.) consists of eight hours of safety training provided by professional speakers with a background in amusement safety and loss control inspection. At the conclusion of the training program, attendees will have the opportunity to take a certification test. Upon successful completion of the training & test, attendees will be issued a certification certificate as a Certified Haunted Attraction Operator Seminar graduate (C.H.A.O.S.).

C.H.A.O.S. is an ongoing safety education program. Topics scheduled to be covered in this year's seminars include:

• Fire & Panic in Haunted Houses and Attractions
• Code Compliance
• Life Safety 101
• The Operation and Inspection of Seasonal, Temporary and Permanent Haunted Houses and Outdoor Walkthroughs
• Loss Control Issues for Haunted Attractions
• Pneumatic Prop Maintenance and Safety
• Safety Training for Actors and Support Staff.

Additional topics will be included in future installments of C.H.A.O.S.
