Creepy places near you

There is alot of talk around here {CT} about the Green Lady Cemetary. Im not sure which is the real one, but this one particular graveyard is very creepy. Ive been told that 'witches' were buried here. Its actually in my hometown, Winsted, CT. One of the reasons this place is so great and scary for most, is the fact that its on a dirt road far from civilization and even most off road vehicles cant make it out there. There is about 20-25 graves, all dating back to the 1800's. Of course, some kids have trashed the place with broken beer bottles lately, but its still very cool to check out. If youre ever in winsted, going westbound towards canaan, on the left is a road called Ruggbrook Rd. right before Danbury Quarter Rd. Drive down past the resevoir and look for the dirt road on the right. Follow it to a three way intersection. Take a right up the hill. Go thru the fenced area, and the road will get alot worse. If you can get thru it, the graveyard will be on your left.

Stories are told about the old Salem Cemetery near Wellston. According to some, Civil War soldiers are sometimes seen standing at attention beside their gravestones. Others say you can hear a piano being played by ghostly hands in the graveyard's church at midnight.
