For the longest time the "darkest" thing I owned was Ozzy's Crazy Train...or was the tape called Diary of a mad man? Anywhooo... that was the darkest thing. Then I liked some songs from The Cure, NIN, but when I was 37,(waiting for the laughter to stop) I got the standalone player and I listened to HIM. I don't own any of his stuff, or their stuff, but I do have it on my standalone player. *hangs head and whispers* I do like MCR. *dashes to hide* LOL!

I do like HIM though, and Amy Lee and her group. Oh and that song she sings Freak on a leash.

Goth & Industrial

My first album was Bauhaus (tape:) so they are up there. As well as The Cure was my first concert.  I adore industrial music but I'll keep to Goth music.

I've never been interested in 'metal' type music -- so this is just the goth music that I like recently.

Breathe- The Laughing Dolls....Great album!

Anders Managa- Welcome to the Horror Show

Collide- good music though it can sound similar after a while.

Rasputina- though I can't recommend the last album.

Beborn Beton- Tales From Another World (synpop tasty)

Billy Holiday's Gloomy Sunday gets me everytime.

Chainsuck- Kindly Stop For Me

Cocteau Twins- The Pink Opaque (& only that album)

Cruxshadows- The Mystery of the Whisper (its growing on me)

Dead Can Dance & Lisa Gerrard

Have you listened to Mediaeval Baebes or Corvus Corvax lately? Good.

Like all modern women- I'm seeking out evil & trying to join their minons.
