Thank you McSteel. It is fun to get people together and just have a good time. I really wasn't sure if this was the right time to start a group since I am new here, but than again, I guess it is the perfect time.

So, I hope you and the rest of the group members will enjoy it here immensely.

starting the group was a great way to get involved with the site and it shows members that you are truly here for what the site was intended for.

As far as general discussion...i guess i'll chime in with something that has been eating me as of late.  Inside i have a longing, but i cannot say what it is for.  I have just not been satisfied by life as of late.  I don't know why....i've got a place to live, i have money in my pocket....a good job...but i just have an emptiness inside of me and i can't seem to fill it with anything.  Just thought i'd share...hope it wasn't too off base for the topic.

No sweetie, that is not far off base at all. This is what I meant this group for, especially in this forum. Here you can say anything that is on your mind. And who knows? Someone might be able to provide members with answers or insights. On the other site I was on we had a lot of Pschics. But they always ended up wanting money. lol. Maybe one will wonder in here and help out when needed.

As far as your emptiness, will...I think we all go through that at one point in our lives. Sometimes more often than others. I know I have gone through that a time or two. I just had to learn to love myself and make do with what I had/have. I figured if I love myself than I will be able to love that special person when they come along. Sometimes a person isn't what I was perhaps needing in my life, like maybe that isn't what your emptiness is about. I practice a different type of belief. I am from the old beliefs. Nature is what I practice, so I believe that we can make things happen if we really wanted them bad enough. Anything and everything is possible. Just be careful of what you want, because it will come true. You just got to ask yourself, "Am I ready for this path in life right at this time?" Most times I find that the path that I am on is the path that needed walking. Believe me I don't pick easy paths either. lol.

I know I am not helping you, but I think that when we meditate and look deep inside our hearts and soul we will find what it is we are needing and missing in our life. The "Now" is what I like to live in. It is not an illusion or the past or the future. It is the reality of this life plane. So when I look inside I will usually find the answer and apply it to the "Now." Maybe you can give it a go and see how you fare with it. That is, if you like to meditate. If you don't just think about what it is that you are feeling when you go to bed and tell yourself to find the answer when you are sleeping. It will come to you.

thank you for your suggestions.  I too follow the old order although i'm fairly new to it still.....reading...and learning.   I have tried to meditate from time to time, but it seems that i can never get my mind to calm.  All these thoughts go racing through my head and i can't seem to be able to turn them off.

Best wishes to you, my friend.  I love your poetry but it always seems so sad.  I hope that soon you will find a happiness deep within yourself that no one can take away.  And, Connie's right, this is the perfect place to get it out of your system.

I really enjoy being on this site..this seems to be the only place that I can be where I'm not hounded..and I get to just be Monique, ya know.  I LOVE horror in all its facets..halloween is just a part of it.  So I love sharing my love of this whole genre with you guys.  Coming to this site is like coming home..and I've been blessed to have met you guys..Sorry to get all mushy and stuff, lol
