You have a wonderful mind for all of this! I think medievil times would be the perfect setting. I play WOW and other games so I know a little. I like the idea of both good and bad players. Keeps it interesting.

Ouestions:

How many kingdoms are needed? Should we all create a Kingdom to add? Or can we borrow from favorite books, games, or movies?

Will we all be from the same Kingdom or a eclectic group of wanderers/adventurers brought together by the same goal?

Will there be natural enemies of certain characters? ( example..Drow & Dwarfs ) 

Are skills and trades learned based on the character chosen or open ended? 

Too many questions? 

 

Thanx for all the hard work on this!  I'm up for anything so create away! Looking around for the perfect character......if help is needed let me know. I will gladly do what I can.

i was thinking that each character would choose the place they are from....good players would be located at one main kingdom and evil players at another.  you could travel in between any of the outlying villages/towns/and kingdoms, but eventually the kingdoms would go to war and that's where alliances and such would come into play.  I was feeling that each character would be able to level up in different ways....training/study/quests, etc.  Each character would have natural enemies, whether they be non player characters in the game or obviously, enemies of a different alignment.  I feel that there should be no player vs player battles until everyone was of a high enough level and everyone agreed that they would like this.

 I would like as much input as anyone would like to give and help is always appreciated.

 As far as guilds....it was mentioned that one person wanted to be a witch.....so for that character type we could have a witches guild (The Coven of the Moon for example) and that guild would be where the witches character type could study to learn spells, make potions, etc.  A general adventure/warrior would have a guild where they would train with weapons, learn special attacks, etc. 

Like i said none of this is set in stone as i'd like everyone's input.  I just want everyone to enjoy themselves and have a good time.  All i ask is that everyone once we have everything decided and we get into character creation, that you really put an effort into role playing your character.  It will definitely enhance the game.

I'm ready to get this started it sounds like it will be cool.  If we pick names and where we are from my name is  Hagazussa, I could be from Damnation a evil kingdom.  Am I on the right path here?  To get a mental pic of her she, is a night spirit, cannibal, and mainly sorceress.   To get a visual of what I would want her to look like is black as sut hair glowing green eyes, her beauty able to seduce, manipulate, and empower those naieve to who she is.

Ok, here's what i've come up with......we will have one main kingdom, and four outlying kingdoms.  The main kingdom will have the main guilds, areas of study, and some of the initial quests...the outlying kingdoms will have area specific guilds, quests, and other things.  What i need from everyone is ideas for the 5 kingdom names. 

 Secondly, i need to know if everyone wants human based characters, or if we want to incorporate Elves, Dwarfs, Orcs, etc....or other type races like that.  This will help me in some of the kingdom creation.

 Thirdly, we need to hear from everyone the type of character you are wanting (witch, warrior, druid, necromancer, etc.....) when i have everyone's input on this we can start setting up character class types....what this means is what types of skills your character will have and can learn.  Each class will have specific skills only for that class, but there will be skills and trades that anyone can learn as well.

After we get this all set up and established, everyone will then be responsible for coming up with their character type, coming up with a name for your character, choosing your inital alignment (good, evil, or neutral) and coming up with a short paragraph describing your character.

So please, everyone help me with the first 3 items listed in this reply..and then we can get things rolling.

Ok, so here is my input.....

I would love to have other races included. I would like my character to be an Elf. So, the Elven kingdom could be named Fey Dale. Here is what I have in mind for a character....Her name is Iriemorel and she is an Elven Assasain with an affinity for magick(carries a small bag of Rune stones that assist w/magick). Mental picture...she has lonf,flowing reddish hair(think a candle flame or the flames of a bonfire), pine- green eyes, pale complxion(porcelian), curvy figure,and a mischievious smile. She is highly intelligent, beautiful, and dangerously skilled as an assasian. She is neutral based and can align with whom she chooses good or bad. It would all depend on the situation at hand. Although,for those she calls friend, she would gladly risk her life to keep them from harm or to help them out. Her weapons of choice are twin Scimitars, possessing a magick of their own and a nicely tucked away dagger laced with a deadly poison. A girl has to protect herself after all. LOL.

I hope this is what you needed and that I am on the right track here....any help with my character would be greatly apriciated! Love the ideas that are being produced! wonderful job! Oh! TheBadWitch...totally love your idea for a character! I swear I can see her already! Bravo!

As far as kingdom names we have Damnation(which can be the pure evil plain), and Fey Dale(which could be the mystical plain) suggested already, we can wait for some other inputs and yours since a few more want to join in.

I think you should be able to be human or not, I think the classes should be(and this is just my opinion)
