...and good hello from disneyland. I come to you tonight with no agenda, purpose, underlying theme...no meaning whatsoever, really. This introductory post serves merely as a placeholder in time. A marker. A blip on your radar. Something to signify that I have come unto you. A stranger in the night seeking your acceptance.

Rest assured, kind people, I ask nothing of you save your understanding, patience and perhaps a bit of common courtesy as I post the occasional paragraph or two about the mundane details of my (dare I say) commonplace existence, share my current fascinations, and likely intrude upon your forums with my self-important opinions.

The purpose of this introductory post alludes me. I have no amazing or shocking relevations to share (why give away my hand this early in the game?), no spectacular achievements to brag about, nor insightful wisdom to impart. Believe me when I say that I am not one given to boastful, self-aggrandizing speech or idle chatter, though I do have a sharp wit and often slip into the role of "Devil's advocate".

So, I suppose I will merely offer this toast...
