happy to hear , it stays 18+ my own child will not be alloud on internet before he is 18 , i think there are to many reasons not to let your child on internet , without a parrent to oversee there actions , so keep up the good work !!!

Those are my thoughts too. I mean, look how many times MySpace has been in the news for something bad going on at their site. It's never happened with SS. It's definitely a great idea to keep the age limit the way it is because of how irresponsible so many parents are. They don't do their job, their kids do something really bad or stupid and then the parents go off and blame TV or the internet for what the kid did instead of accepting responsibility for their own failure. Like what happened when Beavis & Butt-head first aired. Parents just let their kids watch the show right off the bat just because they were all like, "Well, what harm can a cartoon cause?" instead of previewing the show for themselves first and then deciding whether or not the show was appropriate for their kids. Kids started imitating what they saw B & B doing, starting fires and all and who did the parents blame? MTV and Mike Judge. That's another thing that makes keeping the age limit the same a great idea; no chance of facing the "wrath" of stupid, irresponsible parents. You run this site a hell of a lot better than Tom runs MySpace, Larry.

Hello! I have been offline for ages now, and wasn't able to vote on the topic, but yup i was going to go for staying at 18+ as well, Another site known as DeepRealm does not have that rule and its quite an annoyance in that its now filling up with 13-14 year old whining emos and 12 year olds with id names such as 'Satans Owner' for crying out loud!! lol..Anyhow though, very glad that the decision here has been made, and i hope all is well with everyone, its nice to return and see the place still going strong! xx Truly, Tessa
