As some of you are well aware by the blogs I've posted on my page, our house is haunted.  Recently, I sought out professional help & an associate of John Zaffis presented a disturbing theory as to why the phenomena is occurring.  Prior to telling you the theory, it is important to share a bit of background history. 

My fiancé has had paranormal experiences since childhood however, I didn't have any paranormal experiences until a few weeks after we began dating.  We, (including my fiancé’s friend) experienced phenomena in our previous residence which I assumed was the spirit of a woman who had been murdered by a serial killer in our apartment building.  Then, we moved into our current residence & began experiencing phenomena here as well. 

The theory presented by John Zaffis's associate is that the house itself isn't haunted.  His theory is that a spirit has attached itself to my fiancé which makes sense considering my fiancé recently told me he has experienced phenomena in nearly every house he has lived in.  He also said the spirit perceives me to be a, "threat" which could explain why I'm experiencing negative phenomena whereas my fiancé isn't.  

According to John Zaffis's associate, a house blessing will not get rid of it.  When I asked him what would, he advised me a minor rite of exorcism would need to be performed, (on both of us) to dispel it.  Considering the pure hell I've been through, I'm willing to undergo an exorcism but I'm unsure as to whether or not my fiancé would.

Shortly after speaking with John Zaffis's associate, my fiancé had a nightmare of a spirit holding its hand over his mouth, (attempting to suffocate him).  When my fiancé mocked it, it turned to attack me.
