So a few wks ago I had to report a sexual harassment inc. at work. They tried to make me quit. Last night while I was at work it pretty much sounded like Howard Stern meets Jerry Springer on my hall- all the while a son is sitting next to his father as he dies. I reported it to my supervisor because if I hadn't and the family complained- I would be fired. Knowing if I did and the staff found out they would hate me. But out of respect for my patients who have to listen to this nightly and the son who sat next to his dying father, I reported it so it wouldn't happen again. The director of nursing called me to say she investigated it and the nurse denies this ever happened (of course! who would confess acting like a white trash whore at work-when admitting it would gt you fired!) So she called me to tell me that she believes my reports to be grossly exaggerated and she fired me! I'm so screwed!
