5 years....a day we will never forget.
Our company lost workers in our NYC office in building #7. This summer I went to our relocated office and heard the horrific stories from 2 survivors still working for our company.....my life after hearing those stories will never be the same. I just hugged both of them for a long time after hearing their stories. They and I were in tears.
My uncle is a NJ fireman/EMT part of a disaster team that travels country wide if needed. He was dispatched to ground zero shortly before tower number 1 fell. He spent more than a month there and still won't/can't talk about what he saw.
So many people lost.....so many families torn apart. Life is a precious gift and can be taken from you or people you love at any moment. LIVE your life and make the most of everyday.

Hate,is a powerful evil. But some people will never understand why the TWIN TOWERS got attached.I belive it was because of hate and the sad part is no matter how hard you try there is going to be people who hate america because she is the land of the free.Without our brave Heroes that fight for our freedom we would be no better off than some 3 rd world countries you never no what you mess until it is gone. Our country is wroth fighting for and I guess Lee Greenwoods song says it best.God Bless the U.S.A. and the men who fight to keep her that way!!!and those of you who are my close freinds here at S.S. know what I'm talking about.

It was a surreal day 5 years ago. I was in California that summer but I have family in NY. In NYC and New Rochelle. I never wanted to go inside the towers when I lived in NY. But now that they're gone and so many lives lost(and counting), it makes me appreciate life and the years I spent in NY and knowing the people there. I still feel that heart break. I doubt it will ever go away.
