Keeping in mind it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird, I thought I’d take a shot at any assorted cuckoos, turkeys, hawks, doves or screaming eagles out there and try to kill two birds with one stone.
First, I want to offer my sincerest apologies to everyone who has sent me messages over the last few weeks and patiently waited for answers that never came. I have been reading them and do appreciate your time spent writing them. I hope to have a bit of a break from now until the first week in May in which to drop a personal, “Hey”, to everyone. Until then I hope this will suffice. That’s because my explanation takes aim at the second quail in the covey.
I haven’t been around because I’ve been completely absorbed in selling my book. Things have gone very well so far. I’ve had lots of compliments from readers. My personal favorite is: “When’s the next book coming out?”
Trying to sell one book while writing another is teaching this old dog some new tricks. However, I’m finding it a good way to stay in touch with myself. Just yesterday I met myself coming and going. It was nice to see me again.
So if you haven’t indulged yet…. buy my book, Down By The River. Cowboys and Indians and werewolves, Oh My!
