Grant me a figure tall and spare,
With stealth of the deer,
and claws of the bear!
The speed of the elk,
The wit of the fox,
The ears of the wolf,
The strength of the ox!
The venom of the snake
The teeth of the shark,
The eyes of the cat,
Which see in the dark!
