Subject: car problems
Content: I am gonna be SOOOooo in debt. My truck has almost always had problems with the fuel gauge...(I got it like 6 months ago) and I just dismissed it as a glitch or loose wire to have checked.until recently it started getting hard to start. It was then that I realized the fuel sender was part of the fuel pump in the tank.I looked up some prices and went to talk to a friend of my brothers who works at a shop. The part was listed at around 250. ,but I was hoping to get it rebuilt...not thinking about the sender at the time, just the  hard starting thing (and some missing at shift ).So I went to see him,he looked at it and said the "spider" (apperently a common name for this part) was probably bad in the intake. So as we talked about it he said he could go get a scope to look inside and see if it was bad and I asked if he could shine a mirror in there and look...any way, it turned out that's what was causing it (he checked the pressure and all and found it seeping down). He had an old one laying around he was showing me . I had planned to leave the caar  there and pay him when I came back to pick it up. But, by now he had taken half of the intake off to show me the leak. so,I still have problems with my fuel gauge, which mean I have to take it back to him for another 300 + dollars (just for parts) plus I owe him 250 for replacing a regulator in this "spider". but at least the car is running.
