Title: The Paranormal Awakening

Blog Entry: A lot of people are talking these days about how scientific research in the paranormal is a waste of time because they believe we will never find the answers with science. Well I say poppycock! To them I would quote Dr. William James, M.D. "In order to disprove the law that all crows are black, it is enough to find one white crow.." And this is what I seek: The White Crow. I have been researching paranormal phenomena as related to "ghosts" since 1976. Over the years I have pooled all the data and am starting to reach some conclusions. First of all, here is what I know: During active paranormal activity, 1. Electromagnetic field energy increases, or spikes during an event. 2. This energy often fluctuates at specific frequencies; these frequencies are often in the audio spectrum and excite the microphone coils and magnetic tape of local recording devices, resulting in a disembodied voice being recorded, or an EVP. 3. An amorphous shaped area of extreme temperature differentiation, more commonly lower than the ambient temperature, but occasionally a higher temperature is experienced. 4. A slight decrease in atmospheric pressure. This can be from 1 to 5 millibars (100 to 500 pascals). 5. We know that the ion count increases, most often the negative ion count, which generally increases by 3 or 4 thousand ions/CM³. We also know, on occasion, the positive count increases, but generally to a lesser extent. 6. We know that pure magnetic fields increase, sometimes significantly. 7. We know that background noise levels increase all across the spectrum, from audio to light. 8. We know that static field strength increases in the negative range, usually 250 to 500 volts but sometimes as much as 5000 volts. 9. We know now that air conductivity increases. We are not sure yet as to the frequency or fluctuation of this event, only that it does. 10. We know that if we artificially inject energy (with a Tesla coil or even a Van De Graaff generator) into the environment during an event the activity increases rather dramatically. 11. We know that activity increases when there is increased activity in the earth's magnetic fields. 12. We know there is increased activity when the sun is more active. 13. We know that in some cases, batteries are drained by paranormal activity. 14. We know that on occasion paranormal activity has interrupted power to certain devices or lights. 15. We know that at the end of the event, there is a burst of alpha, beta and slight bit of gamma radiation from .1 to .2 mR/hr. Finally we have significance evidence that cold plasma may be a byproduct of this action, creating a measurable ball of UV radiating plasma that some people call orbs. And while most orbs caught on camera are dust, some are definitely NOT dust, unless dust discharges 35,000 volts upon impact with a good ground. It is my belief now that interaction with a parallel universe is the root source of this phenomena. It is even possible that the effects are due to a non-catastrophic transference of matter from one to the other. This may explain the physical measurements taken during these events. While I am not yet ready to say that ghosts are communicating with us, I am will to state that something with intelligence is trying to communicate, and there is a significant amount of evidence to indicate there is a space-time anomaly involved. The trick is going to be making the connection with this parallel universe in such a way as to gather direct evidence supporting the reality of the concept. Think of it like this; Two sheets are hanging parallel to each other on a clothes line rig with multiple parallel lines to hang cloths on. When the wind blows, the two sheets blow and flap with the wind force, often touching in different spots along the fabric. Where this touch occurs, matter from one sheet transfers to the other, and vice versa. Something is creating vortexes, or wormholes between these two realities, and stuff is traveling back and forth. While it may be possible with the introduction of exotic matter to stabilize one of these wormholes for human passage, to date this has not been the case. However, energy seems to be able to penetrate the "veil". such as the appearence of spontaneous electromagnetic fields appearing in the center of a room with no apparent source. I have started examining the possible connection of this phenomena to quantum theory known as Loop Quantum Gravity. A collegue of mine (Pascal Barre) has suggested this and I believe he may have a very good point. At any rate, I am certainly excited about the prospects of my research and what it may reveal. It is also very possible that the universes did not start with a big bang, but with a big compression or implosion, which may be why some universes are so readily connectable, at least in a partial manner.
