Title: Home Haunt

Blog Entry: Well, I think it is time for plan C (or am I at Plan F by now?) The haunt may not be able to run as expected - charging admission. But all is still not lost. We built this thing to raise money, but I think we are going to have to take a step back and run it for free as a home haunt and just put out donation boxes at the end. My brother has a decent-sized yard to hold this thing and we have been cranking out some props. We have a gallows, a wiper-motor hangman, a Death Chair, some coffins and dummies, body parts, skulls, corpses, etc. What I need to find out is if we need insurance to run a free haunt. We are looking into that right now, but I don't see why we would since there are quite a few home haunts out there. Anyway, this is our last hoorah. If this doesn't work out it'll have to be the seance in the garage. The only problem with thte seance is that we can only have 12 guests at a time and the show will last 30 mintues, so it will have to be arranged where people would buy tickets in advance for a particular show (say Friday at 7:30pm or Friday at 8:30pm). I am fine with that if that is what we need to do, but I would prefer to do a walkthrough haunt since that is what I have spent the most time learning how to do. Wait, I just thought of something...I can run the haunt for free and charge for the seance. Hmmmmm. I have to go think about this...
