My name is Dr. Ghastly. I'm a home haunter in southwest Indiana, and the name of my haunt is Shady Lawn Cemetery.

Shady Lawn is going on its third year in 2006. Each year I add a little more to it, but I try to keep it strictly to a cemetery theme. No Freddie Kreuger, no Michael Myers, no inflatable Snoopy, and no aliens. I prefer "classic" over "cliche".

The purpose of my haunt is to give me a creative release ("art" is too strong a word), and to give the Trick or Treaters a kick on Halloween night. I'm not inclined to scare the crap out of small kids on Halloween, but I do try to create an atmoshpere that is creepy and memorable.
