Fangs
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />Her deadly fangs shimmered opalescent, in the cool fall harvest moonlight,
Her loving eyes are aquamarine crystals, pools which glimmer in the night.
Her soft lips are the crimson of a red rose, blood glistening with a scream.
Her white skin is the color and silkiness, a bowl of freshly poured cream.
Her blonde hair hangs softly in strands, like the purest spun golden honey.
Her flowing satin green dress sparkles, the dark emerald color of money.
She was my first love; my last, only; even though she was taken by death.
She will haunt my every memory, even after I’ve taken my last dying breath.
She stayed forever at my side my lover, from the time that I was a young boy.
She was the kindest and most giving lover, always my sweetest comfort and joy.
She makes me recoil now in horror, from the terrifying monster she’s become.
She will forever be my only true love, even death together we will overcome.
I shall become one again with my lover, my darling she will take me this night.
I have surrendered every concept and notion, of what is now wrong and right.
I join her in her cold embrace of death; I know that this was not sent from above.
I feel her razor sharp fangs sliding gently, into my throat with her unending love.
I am feeling my life slipping away slowly, as my blood runs down into her throat.
I am sucking the cut wrist she’s offered, her cold creeping slowly into my coat.
My own fangs I now feel are growing, as my body shudders coldly with death.
My skin is now turning white and pallid, as I am drawing my last final breath.
My fear now regressing we are together, lifeless yet I feel my love swell.
My love and I are forever cursed, to darkness, nighttime feeding and hell.
My life blessed by her love as I knew it, is now gone forever yet not lost.
My love’s so great for us to be forever, cursed together is worth the cost.

We now scream like the banshees, floating over the Scottish moors.
We float hand in hand together, over our tombs icy cold granite floors.
We together in life faced its joys and fears, forever my love never to die.
We move silently in the night together, we will now always somehow try.
We look for the meaning in our death, although forever we will bear a curse.
We were very shortly separated and yet, we found being apart is far worse.

Together freely we roam the night now, searching for a meal and our prey.
Together we have embraced our curse, Cain’s blood that makes us this way.
Together we hide in the early morning, from the suns deadly golden rays.
Together we can never see the sunrise, or the sunset the rest of our days.
Together because of this curse we are, to be shunned and feared by men.
Together in our crypt we hide from, the sunlight and wait for night to begin.

Our fangs are our bond that separates us, from what was once our mortal life.
Our love binds us closer together now, more than any mortal husband and wife.
Our love is our haven while hunting, fangs stronger and sharper than knives.
Our prowess in darkness to move, without being caught our immortality belies.
Our happiness is an eternity of living, each night together battles we will fight.
Our swiftness as we move like wind, our skills we perfect together each night.

The fangs that feed us also curse us, if we step in the light we will burn.
The fangs that sink into our victims, will keep us together as we learn.
The fangs will keep us in darkness, never again in the light can we stay,
The fangs make us relentless hunters, forever killers that hide from the day.
The fangs draw the blood from mortals, which nourish us night after night.
The fangs separate us from humans; my love keeps me holding her tight.

Then comes an Angel sent down by God and with compassion he spoke.
Then we slowly bowed down before him, our deaths nothing but a bad joke.
Then we remembered our Godly lives and how we always tried to do good.
Then came our chance for repentance, although it was only a dream we could.
Then came the morning sun’s bright rays, as we ran for our crypt from the light.
Then we hoped we would go to Heaven, but we will hunt yet another night.
