I don't usually have the time to read for fun anymore, :-( but when I do manage, it's books on bizarre magick (I'm an amateur aspiring magician), or music/studio recording, maybe some computer and IT stuff. I've also got the Anne Rice trilogy but have't read it yet - but that's next.. I used to love comic books, especially the old "Witching Hour" and "Tales from the Crypt" types.
Earlier this year, I managed to read all the Harry Potter books for my son.

I love music - I'm a musician and play several instruments, some of them for over 20 years.
Favorite bands right now: Lacuna Coil, Type O Negative, Kittie, (Old) Evanescence; Guitar stuff - heavy metal, hard rock, progressive, progressive rock, jazz-rock fusion, guitar oriented stuff like Joe Satriani or Eric Johnson, and my own stuff. For classical I like Beethoven but Bach is The Man. (Hey, he wrote Toccata and Fugue in D minor after all !!)

I've haven't gotten to see many movies in the past 5 or 6 years, but lately I've been on a Harry Potter kick. In all honesty, they're better than I thought they'd be, for adults, that is. What a neat little universe JK Rowling has created.

Some of the classics I love: Aliens, American Werewolf in London, Halloween, Beetlejuice, Tales From the Crypt, Lost Boys, Underworld, Van Helsing, almost any vampire movie, really. I like good SciFi too, but not the campy stuff. I don't care for slasher flicks very much, unless the people getting slashed deserve it. Gore for the sake of gore, not really a good thing, but if used well, then hey, whatever.

Music- writing and playing; guitar, piano, bass, drums. Magic (bizarre magic); the Occult; Astronomy. Basically - too many, actually.

I'm pretty easy to get along with. I'm a techie (Network Administrator) by day; but I'd much rather be a professional musician, if only it paid the bills..
I have an artistic streak that comes out in a lot of ways. I also have an analytical mind (or so I've been told), but I mostly tend to be intuitive and creative, which I'd like to think is tempered by my analytical side. For what it's worth: If you're familiar with the Briggs/Myers personality test, Im type INTJ: Introverted/Intuitive/Thinking/Judging.
I'm sometimes very quiet, and sometimes even a little extroverted.. or quite possibly just confused.
